Justin Tyler Pristoop, 20, was arrested again and faces new charges just months after he was charged and released in a separate case, authorities said on Wednesday afternoon.

Late last week, members of the Charles County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant in the 3100 block of Heathcote Road in Waldorf amid an ongoing investigation into alleged drug and weapon violations.

During that search, officials say that they recovered more than six pounds of cannabis, a loaded firearm, cash, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials.

Pristoop was identified as a suspect and arrested without incident.

Investigators made note that at the time, Pristoop was on electronic monitoring related to a previous arrest in December 2023 for possession of a firearm.

The Waldorf resident was charged with possession of drugs with the intent to distribute, illegal possession of a firearm due to age, and other related offenses.

He's being held at the Charles County Detention Center without bond.
